"Does Obama Secretly View Himself As The Messiah?"

************************************************************ As you may or may not have heard by now, a portrait of Obama was commissioned (it is unclear who commissioned it) that was to be unveiled on Wednesday, 29 April 2009, his 100th day in office. The portrait, titled "The Truth," a 30"x54" acrylic painting on canvas depicting Obama in a Jesus-like pose with a crown of thorns upon his head, painted by artist Michael D'Antuono, and marking his 100th day in office, will now not be released.

The artist has canceled the unveiling due to "overwhelming public outrage."

The artist, Michael D'Antuono, said this of his painting:

" 'The Truth' is a politically, religiously and socially-charged statement on our nation’s current political climate and deep partisan divide that is sure to create a dialogue."

According to the press release:

"D’Antuono insists that this piece is a mirror; reflecting the personal opinions and emotions of the viewer; that “The Truth” like beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. D’Antuono expects that individual interpretations will vary as widely as they do in the political arena. The work will be seen by one viewer at a time behind a voting booth-inspired public installation."

Naturally, Obama couldn't be expected to be a man about this whole thing and to make a statement as to whether he was as disgusted by the painting as most Americans are or not. Maybe he likes it and of course he's entitled to his opinion, but why the big secret and all the lying? He's President now, so he might as well come clean. Maybe he secretly does view himself as the Messiah, and he wanted all the accolades, so he was disappointed that the portrait was not unveiled.

I don't believe that he is capable of telling the truth...that's the irony. The painting is clearly sacrilegious and blasphemous, and is offensive to the majority of Christians, which is why there was such a negative public outcry. Obama claims to be a Christian, yet at every turn, he parts with the normal Christian response. That's the "truth" that people are finally starting to see.

Saddam Hussein and Ahmadinejad would make just as good "Mock Messiahs" as Obama would have, and in fact, all three had identical socialist agendas for their countries and ours, with the same sickening agenda for the world, and all without regard for what their people wanted or needed. Evil, power-hungry, megalomaniacs are like that, you know.

Thank God there is only one true Messiah, and that He is still and always will be in control...His name is Jesus Christ. He came to this earth to die for all of us, to pay the price for our sins, so that Death would not have a claim or victory over us anymore. He was hung on the cross and forevermore, He paid the price for our sins, and He rose from the dead on the third day and paid the price, so that now we can have Eternal Life. All we need to do is believe in Him, believe that He paid the price and rose from the dead on the third day. Then repent (turn and feel sorry for) your sins and ask for forgiveness and ask the Lord into your heart. Ask Jesus to become Lord and Saviour of your life. Then you are born again! Furthermore, the angels in heaven will rejoice with you! Hallelujah!

Please let me know if you have made this decision for the Lord, so that I can rejoice with you. It will be the most important decision that you will have ever made. Be sure and tell someone. Find a local church and start reading your Bible. If you don't have a Bible, let me know, and I'll see that you get one.

"The Million Taxpayer Grassroots March!"

According to the media and the left-wingers, the Tea Parties were either funded by the wealthy...people like George Soros, Steve Forbes and Dick Armey; orchestrated by G.O.P strategists (wow! we must have done a better job of organizing than we thought!); or if Homeland Security is correct, then a bunch of rightwing extremists were in charge. At any rate, the media estimated the attendance at a meager 250,000 (two-hundred-fifty-thousand) people, which would have been nothing to sneeze at, considering the fact that people had to take time off work to attend. But, leave it to the media to misinform the public, because the correct total was more than ONE MILLION!





Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), the current Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, stated "This initiative is funded by the high end. We call it "AstroTurf." It's not really a grassroots movement, it's astroturf by some of the wealthiest people of America to keep the focus on tax cuts for the rich, uh, instead of for the great middle class."

"AstroTurf" has been called "democracy for hire" by Political Journalist, William Greider, currently THE NATION's National affairs correspondent. Astroturfing has been further described as a "grassroots program that involves the instant manufacturing of public support for a point of view in which either uninformed activists are recruited or means of deception are used to recruit them."

It is further stated that "unlike genuine grassroots activism which tends to be money-poor but people-rich, astroturf campaigns are typically people-poor but cash-rich," but as you can see, our tea parties were definitely people-rich, thus proving our point that "astroturfing" was absolutely not involved!

One thing that all these tea parties were rich in was a love of the U. S. Constitution. Everyone that attended these tea parties held the same strong beliefs that the document our Founding Fathers had drawn up was a masterpiece and that it was worth defending and fighting for.

"How About A Little Spot Of TEA?"

All across this land of ours, there were in excess of 500 tea parties (inspired by Dr. Orly Taitz) to take place on 15 April 2009, "Tax Day." Americans of all shapes and sizes came out by the thousands to protest, but where was the media? If the media bothered to report on the events, they misinformed the public, saying there were 300 people, when clearly the videos showed a thousand or more; they would say there was a poor showing when obviously there was a huge turn-out; or they just wouldn't show up at all. Time and again, we would hear, "where's the media?" on a video, when you know that if it had been a video of a few gays protesting on a street corner, it would have been covered on the news for sure, and all with a positive spin, even after they had clearly violated someone else's rights.




Here, CNBC is trying to make fun of the Tea Parties, but they are caught unawares when Rick Santelli (God bless him!), the person they thought would agree with them, was man enough to speak the truth, and he told them that he was proud of what they were doing! (Also notice that Rick was not alone in his sentiments--a guy in the background gives him the "thumbs up" sign while he was speaking!) Watch the amazing video for yourself:




I don't think the media were capable of understanding what was happening. Even Pelosi was in denial, trying to say that she knows what the American people want, while right under her nose, millions of Americans were protesting the very things that she, Reid, and the rest of them have been trying to shove down our throats since Obama got into office. Her she is, admitting that Obama's plan for "redistributing the wealth" is what they intend to do, no matter what the people want:




They have been on a spending spree with money that does not exist! Can't anyone see that? While Bush was in office, they were counting the pennies, but now, miraculously, they are blowing non-existent money like there is no tomorrow! I think, besides Pelosi, Reid, Emanuel and Geithner, that we should fire every one of the Representatives that signed that gigantic bailout package without reading it!

"Let's Have A Tea Party!!"

p Things are really heating up around the United States. Our citizens are finally starting to wake up and get involved, because they are tired of being under the thumb of our tyrannical, Democrat-led government.

Dr. Orly Taitz of the DEFEND OUR FREEDOMS FOUNDATION recently had this posted on her website:

"The Global Warming Hoax"

It is inconceivable to me that the American people are standing still while Obama/Soetoro is saddling their families with a $3.55 trillion dollar budget that includes $1.9 trillion in additional taxes (this from a man who "claimed" that he would be lowering the taxes on 95% of the American people). Included in those taxes with be several millions of dollars in taxes under the guise of “The Global Warming Hoax,” which is just another socialist movement for global governance, complete with global taxation on greenhouse gas emissions, despite the fact that hundreds of scientists have tried to tell the media, the government, and anyone that will listen, that it is just hysteria over a normal phenomena that occurs naturally.

During the last century, the media have previously reported on four different occasions that there would be a "Global Climate disaster." They stirred up mass hysteria, just as they are trying to do now, by saying such things as entire countries would be wiped out or that because of the predicted lower crop yields, “billions would die.”

The first panic, in the year 1895, was over an “imminent ice age,” and we all know how accurate that one was. Then there was the long and lingering threat of global warming that the media jumped on when the earth’s surfaced warmed less than one half of a degree in the 1920’s. They clung to that myth until the late 1950’s, when it finally died of its own natural causes. Then, even I can remember the 1975 headlines in the New York Times that read: “A Major Cooling Widely Considered To Become Inevitable,” and last but not least, you’d think they would have been more careful about what they printed after that last doomsday weather report, but I guess that all papers have a little “National Enquirer” within, so in 1981, it was back to the threat of “global warming,” which has revisited us, and with a vengeance.

The only thing different with the reporting now is, they do have a little better flexibility in their reporting. Instead of sticking with the phrase, “global warming,” do or die, which was their original premise, they have changed the phrase to “climate change,” because no matter how hard they have tried to make people believe that the earth’s core temperature was rising at alarming rates due to man's alleged misuse of CO2, they can’t back up their claims with any real facts—there just aren’t any!

Instead, each time, the disasters were resolved by the ebb and flow of nature, just as this non-disaster has done. Al Gore has simply used his fabricated information to get what notoriety he could out of it, because he did not have a very good showing after his election bid, if you know what I mean. You may recall, he freaked out; had a tantrum; grew a beard; he went into hiding; and “poof;” when he reappeared, he had become a granola-head-greenie that seemed to only care about eco-systems and the non-existent global warming problem. Wow—what a man!

Now, I personally have ever so much respect for those who take this subject seriously, who recycle, and who diligently seek out real solutions to conserve our resources and energy. My husband and I also do our part. However, I have done extensive research on this subject, and I recognize the money-grubbing hand of the socialist-run United Nations (UN) and the slimy little fingerprints of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) who are behind anything to do with running our world—especially the United States.

Furthermore, I have had it with Congress and the way they ignore what We, The People ask of them. They have gotten us into a big mess because they have refused to listen to us. The majority is supposed to rule, yet they do as they please; they have simply run amuck! We can no longer stand on the sidelines and just do nothing!
